  • You have to plan properly for the business you want to start and make sure you gain the knowledge of the specialties that you need to have on your tool belt for success.
  • Develop a solid core team
    • Find a business attorney that can help you with your business plan and structure.
    • Find a CPA to assist you with the tax world.
    • Find a financial planner to help with your businesses financial planning.
  • Additionally before you even transition out of the service be sure to get everything in writing and have it printed out. Have copies of all benefits and assets.

  • If you’re going to start a business be sure to find your passion. A good book to help figure that out is Chazown by Craig Groeschel
  • Have perseverance and grit, it can be a long and difficult road with the possibility of failure before you become a great success

  • Network, network, network! Your network is your net worth
